Pedestrian Sunday in Kensington Market

If you like to try a variety of different foods from different cultures make sure you visit Kensington Market. Starting in the summer to the fall Kensington Market in Toronto closes it’s streets on Sundays from 12pm to 7pm so, you can enjoy walking along the streets and tasting the treats!

Casava fries and codfish fritters from (French Caribbean Cuisine) were pretty good. The spicy sauce is a good match for the fritters.

I like taste testing different things along the many restaurants in Kensington Market and the mini empanadas from Jumbo Empanadas is a good sample size for this Latin American pastry.

One of my favourite desserts is a churro. Churros are made fresh and fried in Kensington Market and they can be filled with 3 types of sauces usually, chocolate, Dulce de Leche and caramel and are usually sprinkled with sugar.
