Christmas Market: Artisan Grilled Cheese Goodness
It’s nice to enjoy a stroll along the Christmas Market at The Distillery District around the holidays in Toronto. The Christmas Market runs this year for several weeks starting from November 28th, 2014 to December 21st, 2014.
Here you can find some food, drinks and craft booths in a beautiful part of the city.
I enjoyed the “Mexican” Artisan Grilled Cheese that included a chorizo and cheese combination grilled panini style. It was a good combination of spicy sausage and cheese and it kept you warm in the chilly outdoor market walkways.
Also, don’t forget to enjoy the Christmas lights and see the 45 foot Christmas tree while you’re enjoying the food and drinks at The Distillery District. If you want to keep warm while walking make sure to get a hot chocolate, latte or coffee at Balzac’s Coffee. Inside Balzac’s is quaint and cozy if you can find a seat.
Tip: If you’d like to try out one of the restaurants in The Distillery District make sure to make reservations in advance during this time as they get booked quickly for dinner time.
I’ll have to try the El Catrin Mexican Restaurant another day…
