Mango Reef Restaurant – Turks and Caicos
The view of the ocean and beach from Mango Reef restaurant is beautiful. If you want a great setting for dinner go there just before the sunsets and enjoy the sunseting in the distance and a great meal by the Turtle Cove Marina.

The seafood on the island of Turks and Caicos is amazing and Mango Reef doesn’t disappoint with many selections of appetizers and entrees to make a seafood lover happy!
We tried the the Crispy Aumoniere of Scallop and it is a definite must try appetizer. It is made with Crispy Bricks Paper stuffed with Sauteed Jumbo Scallops, Mushroom, Spinach and Parmesan Cream Sauce and the piece de resistance is that it is Crispy Bricks Paper stuffed with Sauteed Jumbo Scallops, Mushroom, Spinach and Parmesan Cream Sauce
topped with Crispy Shallots and Truffle Oil. The flavour combination is perfect and delicious.

To top off my seafood craving I had one of their specialty lobster tails. My apologies for the grainy pictures but, as the sun was setting it became too dark with my iPhone camera to take a great shot and I was eager to taste my main course.

We tried the Vanilla Creme Brulee for dessert and it wasn’t as inspiring as the main course or appetizer and need a little more sugar to be torched and a narrower bowl to hold the custard.
You can’t beat the breathtaking view from Mango Reef’s dining patio and you may even catch a friendly neighbourhood cat while dining outdoors. I would definitely visit this restaurant again to try their other dishes.
