Saigon Star – Vietnamese Restaurant
If you’re looking for a seafood treat go to Saigon Star and try their Garlic Drunken Crab. The garlic and beer combination makes it a flavourful dish and keeps me coming back on special occasions to enjoy with family or friends.
Their lemon grass lamb and curry beef brisket dish is also quite good. Vietnamese spring rolls are also a fan favourite, whether it is crispy or the soft summer roll.
The platter also includes satay beef and chicken. I enjoyed the peanut sauce on the satay chicken and beef and dipping sauce for the Vietnamese spring rolls. If you want to try a little of everything try out one of their appetizer platters.
Don’t forget to try the pineapple fried rice. Another dish you don’t want to miss out on. This restaurant is great to go to with a group of people so, that you can try multiple Vietnamese dishes to share and enjoy. Saigon Star is a small place and it packs a big punch on value and flavour and the place is usually a full house during dinner time.
