My first visit to Turks & Caicos and I was not disappointed by the beach and the food on the island.
There is nothing better than seeing the conch being picked right out of the ocean and knowing that your meal is as fresh as it gets. I love seafood and I’ve had conch before but never like this.
If you like ceviche you will love their Conch Salad.
We wanted to try a variety of their conch specialties so, we got the Conch Platter. If you don’t like spicy food you may want to avoid the Conch Fritters but, since I like things hot they were perfect. The only way I can describe Cracked Conch is that it is like battered fried calamari but, so much better! Once you have one you can’t stop eating another, thus I guess it’s name since it’s so addictive?
The location is really beautiful as it’s along the beach and you can see the conch shells that they pull right from the ocean near the shore.
There was no live music that day, however it was nice to be at the restaurant when it wasn’t busy with a lot of tourists because it was lunch time and we were on the island during their slow season.
