Chips & Gaucamole - Wilbur Mexicana RestaurantRestaurant Reviews

Wilbur Mexicana

If you want to try a twist on Mexican in a non-traditional Mexican restaurant go to Wilbur to try their variety of tacos and salsas.

They have a great range of salsas from mango salsa to salsa verde and many hot sauces.

I tried their tortilla chips and guacamole and it was pretty good. It reminded me of the tortilla chips I had while vacationing in Mexico.

The fish tacos were delicious and the Bulgogi taco though not traditional was very tasty. The Baha Fish taco was my favourite out of the two that I tried.

The atmosphere is rustic and contemporary but cozy and comfortable.

It’s not a fancy place and the name is a bit odd for a Mexican restaurant but it is pretty busy since it’s downtown in Toronto and along King St.

The concept is order at cashier, pay and go or you can sit, get a number for your table and a server will bring the order to you. Fast, simple and tasty. A good place to go if you’re in a hurry or have time to chill for a while with friends.
