Breakfast crepes are always a great treat and they are easy to make with simple ingredients that most people have readily available in their cupboards.
I like to make them sweet and savory. My favourite combinations are cheese, bacon and mushroom crepes or to take it up a notch try cheese, proscuitto and mushrooms.
For my sweet tooth I like to add Nutella and banana with a little maple syrup poured over the top!
Here’s a simple recipe for making the batter that you can use for making approximately 4 crepes and also Finnish Pancakes.
- 2/3 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 cup milk
- 2/3 cup flour
